[SOLVED]: Asus P5K (with P5KR bios) and Yosemite: ethernet won't work
Hi guys! I've installed OS X Yosemite with MacPawn USB Key. After installation I've installed OS X Yosemite Chameleon V3 ('cause Clover won't work) selecting boot loader, VoodooHDA and FakeSMC (as I've done with Mavericks). Everything works, except ethernet. I know this problem because my mobo with Mavericks an ML needs AttansichL1eEthernet.kext (that is the same for P5K and P5Q). I've tried to install the same one that I've used with previous OS Xs but it won't work, so I look for others packages/kext on the web and tried them with the same result: won't work.
Previously, when i tried to install the same kext with Clover boot loader, the OS not start (must boot from USB key), but the ethernet work.
I think that may be a parameter of Chameleon, but can't find a solution.
Is there someone who can help me?
SOLVED: added kext-dev-mode=1 in org.chameleon.boot.plist (to let OS see uncertified kext) using MultiBeast.

In this guide we are going to install OSX 10.6.2 retail into a regular PC.
This was tested on a P5K-Deluxe motherboard but there re several reports of working with other motherboards as well. First you must purchase (only $29) a copy of OSX 10.6. For this guide you DO NOT need a Mac to prepare the boot CD, it can be done from Windows, Linux or Mac.

1. On a PC or a Mac, burn the downloaded ISO image on a CD
2. Keep your new CD in the drive and reboot your PC
3. At BIOS prompt change your boot priority to CD
4. You will see the boot screen, select the CD icon and press enter
5. Your boot CD will be eject automatically, if not a message will pop up asking you to eject it
6. Insert your purchased OSX disk and the install process will begin
7. Select you language and various options
8. If you see your disk, select it and install then proceed with step 9, if you do not go to step 8a
8a. Clik on Utilities and Disk Utilities. This will show your disks, select the one your want to use and format as 1 partition GUID table and Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
8b. Close Disk Utility and the install should have your disk avaialble
8c. Select the newly formatted disk and install
9. You machine will reboot automatically.

  2. I've first installed Mac os x and the windows 10. For info I have a Legacy Bios. In my case Winsows 10 is booting first, I'm not able to make Clover boot first. The only way is to insert the Mac os X installation USB (press F8 at start up) and from there choose OS X. Can someone help me to get these 2 Os to work in dual boot please.

This i made use kalyways 10.5.1 it runs well with a 2.8 ghz intel p4 a geforce 6 with 256mb of vram i have 4 gb of drr ram in mine but 2 gb should work the mother bored is a Aopen AX4SPE-UN but the on bored audio and lan dont work i fixed that with networkcard/usb audio its fast and can do simple internet and ilife/iwork run well on it.

NOTE
If you are missing audio, install the Voodoo kext from the extensions folder. The Kext Helper app is very simple to use, simply drop the kext into the white window, insert your system password and it will isntall the driver for you!
