The Dota 2 client on Mac is acceptable, it'll run about the same on Windows if you dual boot from my experience (on a non-Retina Macbook though, your mileage may vary). There's been a few major problems with the Mac client in the past but I don't think there's any particularly big issues at the moment. Any advice if it will run or improving the performance of the game on a Mac will be highly valuable. BTW: If I am in the wrong subreddit please let me know! EDIT: Hey Everyone, So I got the game and played some tutorials and some games against bots (I am a brand new player to Dota 2). Heres how my MBA Performed.

Hey guys, I'm trying to setup the auto exec file on my Mac. On my PC it was easy to find where it was (steam/steam apps/config...blah blah blah) but I cannot seem to find where this file is supposed to be on a Mac. Anyone know how I can set this up ?
To open the game folder from Steam:
Dota 2 Download Mac
Library → Right-click Dota 2 → Properties → Local files → Browse local files...
It is the same folder as in Windows. Although, I find it easier to save current settings from the game console using 'host_writeconfig' command. For example:
dota_force_right_click_attack 1
host_writeconfig
